1. What BrokerBase is

BrokerBase is an information and community platform about financial trading institutions: Forex/CFD brokers, cryptocurrency exchanges and proprietary trading firms. We aggregate publicly available regulatory data, publish editorial analysis, host user reviews and mediate complaints between users and institutions.

BrokerBase is not a broker, financial advisor or investment service. Nothing on this platform constitutes investment advice, an invitation to trade, or a recommendation to use any particular institution. Trading leveraged products carries a high risk of losing money.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, attempt to manipulate ratings, or abuse other users.

3. User content

Reviews, complaints and messages you post must reflect your genuine first-hand experience, must not contain unlawful, defamatory or personal-data content, and must comply with our review guidelines. By posting you grant BrokerBase a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display and distribute that content on the platform.

All user content passes moderation. We may reject, hide or remove content that violates our guidelines, and we record moderation decisions in an internal audit trail. Institutions may post official responses to reviews and complaints about them.

4. Complaint mediation

Our complaint process forwards verified complaints to the institution concerned and tracks their response against a deadline. We do not guarantee any outcome, refund or settlement. Private evidence you attach is visible only to you and our moderation team, and is never shared with the institution or the public.

5. Scores and sponsorship

Editorial scores, user ratings and trust/risk indicators are produced independently using the methodology described on the platform. Some institutions pay for clearly labelled sponsored placements. Sponsorship never changes any score, ranking input or moderation decision.

6. Accuracy and liability

Regulation, fees and terms change frequently. We verify data on a best-effort basis and display when each profile was last verified, but we make no warranty that information is complete, current or error-free. Always confirm critical details with the institution and its regulator before depositing money. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BrokerBase is not liable for losses arising from reliance on platform content.

7. Prohibited use

• Posting fake, paid-for or incentivised reviews, or reviewing your own company.
• Scraping the platform at scale or reselling our data without permission.
• Attempting to deanonymise reviewers or harass users.
• Uploading malicious files or content you have no right to share.
